Our premium mortice bits are made in Japan by Nakahashi. Nakahashi mortice bits outlast lesser quality drill bits, cutting cleaner for longer in both hard and soft timbers. They are also resharpenable, though there are certain facets that must not be altered in order to preserve the bit's cutting geometry.

•  Highest quality Japanese steel finely ground and polished with honed cutting edges.

• Take care when setting to leave 2-5mm clearance between end of bit and end of chisel case. This ensures long life and avoidance of premature failure.
